Based in New York City, violinist and violist Lulu Black has over 20 years experience in a variety of musical genres and settings. An accomplished player on both electric violin and acoustic, her versatile and unique style has brought her everywhere from the recording studio and concert hall, to nightlife venues and immersive events, to artists’ salons, intimate soirées, and séances.

Lulu Black’s signature sound blends classical technique with contemporary flair and haunting style, adding mystery and emotional depth to live events and recording artists’ songs alike. Her unique ability to improvise and incorporate looping techniques in her playing has made her performances highly sought-after in New York and elsewhere.

In addition to her solo violin work, she is also a vocalist in bands Beldame and This Is Oblivion.
